Future Business Model

The final business model and pricing are not defined yet, but our overall approach is similar to the classic MMORPGs subscription model.

After Early Access, Pax Dei will require a one-off initial purchase, giving access to the game & one or more plot(s) for a limited period of time; followed by a recurring fee for ongoing game access, which will vary based on the number of plots a player wishes to maintain.

• You get unlimited access to the game, along with the specified amount of plots, for the entire duration of Early Access (i.e., at least until June 2025).

• You are already covering the initial purchase cost required at full-game release.

The Founder's Pack you pick now doesn't commit you to anything past Early Access. We will be transparent about our future pricing plans and provide more details as we approach the official release.

About This Game

Pax Dei is still heavily in development and not yet feature-complete. We expect all aspects of the game will require balancing and polish. Throughout Early Access, we plan to expand the game in terms of content and systems. Major updates will require us to wipe the game and start over. Pax Dei’s Early Access is scheduled to last until at least June 2025, possibly longer.

DISCOVER PAX DEI EARLY ACCESS

Pax Dei is currently in Early Access. The game is still heavily in development. Here is a snapshot of what’s already there for our Founders to enjoy.

• Explore a vast world - We've recently doubled the size of the world, now offering five Provinces covering nearly 300km² (116 mi²). There are over twenty valleys to choose the perfect spot to inhabit.

• Harvest and craft away - Everything in the game is made by players. Travel across different biomes, harvest dozens of resources, and unlock hundreds of recipes already available!

• Build your home - Place your plot and claim a corner of the world to yourself. With dozens of building pieces to work with, the only limit to creating the home of your dreams is your imagination… and our structural integrity system.

• The tools of the trade - Set up a market stall on your plot to showcase goods, crafted items, or rare resources. Use the gold you bring back from your adventures to trade with other players.

• Call the Divine's favor - Spend Grace to perform Miracles providing you with powerful--or practical--abilities and bonuses.

• United we stand - Form a Clan to pool resources, combine plots, build an entire village--or a massive fortress! You’ll need friends and allies to storm dungeons or clash with other Clans.

• Discord-powered chat system - Link your Discord account and keep the conversation going even outside the game. ‘want to check what your Pax Dei friends are up to? Just open Discord, et voilà!

• Craft your own role - With hundreds of items for mixing and matching and skills to master, you will have no lack of choices in deciding your own play style.

• It is dangerous to go alone - Mysterious ruins and hidden dungeons filled with treasures await… guarded by merciless foes. Don’t wander away from home without a party and the proper equipment.

• Welcome to fight club - Divine peace doesn’t extend to Lyonesse, our new province. Enter here at your own peril, if you’re willing to try out our first iteration on PVP. Here, death carries consequences.

• More to come - Our team is hard at work fixing, polishing, and expanding the game. The next major update will focus on the social fabric and the economy.
